Dan Kulp is a Comedic Story Teller, Singer, writer, actor and the proud parent of two adopted children from China who have special needs - including one with that wonderful extra chromosome! He is also the proud brother to four siblings who have Down syndrome (three were adopted).

Kulp has a story to tell. He had the privilege of growing up with four brothers and sisters who have Down syndrome (three were adopted). In fact, during the seventies, PBS and Newsweek Magazine did a feature on them which aired internationally and The National Enquirer did a two page spread about the Kulp family! Now, in a moving new chapter to the story, Dan and his wife have adopted whom they have been told, is the first child ever adopted out of China to the U.S. who has Down syndrome! Since, they have adopted two more children (another from China and one from the Ukraine) with special needs (Alfi syndrome and Spina Biffida). Dan and Elizabeth gave birth to their fourth child back in 2011. Dan looks forward to moving your community through humorous and profound stories which will reveal lessons learned from his upbringing about loving those with special needs and the joy of adoption.

The presentation is a fun filled time of laughter and lessons as Kulp shares memories from his past and moments from the present as a new dad. Your group will identify with his stories about changing diapers for the first time, his Mom's way of dealing with the town bullies and how caring for a child with special needs is the most rewarding thing he has ever done!

Dan Kulp has had the privilege of performing for audiences all over the United States as both the lead singer of the rock group The Dig Project and as a comedian.
